Regulatory Data Sheets (RDS) provide a clear overview of the regulatory status of substances or mixtures at product level.
RDS include the information on the following:
- REACH status
- Chemical inventory listings
- Processing of undesirable or regulated substances
- Food contact safety status
- Compliance with product regulations (e.g. electronics, toys, packaging and cosmetics)
- Eco-label
The submission of an RDS in the supply chain means that it is not necessary to process extensive, customer-specific questionnaires on multiple occasions. The RDS is an efficient and transparent document for handling regulatory requirements. It complements the product information from the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and the Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
