Lexxion hosts seminars on chemical law in September 2018

The German publisher Lexxion is organizing two seminars on chemical law to be held in September 2018.
Seminar International Chemical Law on 25th of September 2018
On 25th of September the seminar “International Chemical Law” takes place in the Marriott Hotel in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Experts from globally operating consultancies and state authorities will give presentations on various topics, like Brexit’s consequences for the EU chemical law. They will as well discuss notifications of products in- and outside of EU. Country-specific issues will be illustrated for Russia, USA, Canada, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Dr Dieter Drohmann, Managing Director of Chemservice GmbH, will hold a lecture on “Russia and its neighbouring countries – overview of the statutory provisions for chemical control”. He will focus on aspects like labelling, safety data sheets, existing and new substances and GHS.
Seminar Chemical Law in Asia on 26th of September 2018
The next day, 26th of September, Lexxion will host the seminar “Chemical Law in Asia”, also located in the Marriott Hotel in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Dr Dieter Drohmann will moderate this seminar which will i.a. deal with the current status of the GHS implementation in Asia. Additionally, the experts will give overviews on the development of chemical law in different Asian countries, e.g. Korea, China, Japan and Taiwan.
