Insights into the toxicological areas of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry – lectures at the RPTU university with Dr Alexander Cartus
The new lecture series “Insights into the toxicological areas of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry” takes place for students in the master’s program in toxicology at RPTU in Kaiserslautern.
The lectures of Dr. Alexander Cartus (Chemservice Luxembourg) on March 11, 2026, highlight the legislative and practical rules, scientific data requirements and framework-specific peculiarities of biocides active substance approval and biocidal product authorisation processes in the EU.
Graduates of this module have gained detailed insight into the processes and dynamics of toxicological practice under the conditions of “good laboratory practice” in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and in regulatory agencies. They have become familiar with the most important aspects/areas of work performed by toxicologists in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries and in regulatory agencies.
