REACH restriction for DMF expected – Article published in the magazine “FARBE UND LACK”
Dr Dieter Drohmann has published an article about the expected REACH restriction for the solvent N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), CAS No. 68-12-2, in the 10/2020 issue of the German magazine “FARBE UND LACK”.
In his article, he describes the development of the reprotoxic classified substance from inclusion into the SVHC Candidate List to the proposal for inclusion into REACH Annex XIV to the restriction procedure. With the expected inclusion of DMF into REACH Annex XVII, the substance will be subject to appropriate risk reduction measures.
